Winemaker Notes
Black cherry and raspberry aromas form the bright red fruit profile on this classic Cabernet. Smooth and silky in texture, refined powdery tannins provide an excellent framework for the fleshy ripe mid palate. Hints of nutmeg and espresso bean add to the complexity of flavors on the palate. The finish is decidedly long and persistent.
CULT is handcrafted by two Napa Valley born and raised wine veterans, Rich Salvestrin and Scott Lloyd. Salvestrin is not only a third generation grape grower, but after obtaining a degree in Viticulture from Fresno State transformed the family business into his namesake St Helena winery. Salvestrin garners exceptional reviews for their handcrafted estate grown wines and sits predominately on Highway 29. General Manager Scott Lloyd holds a MBA in wine from Sonoma State University and has spent a career growing brands for select boutique wineries. This includes Frank Family Vineyards for which he cultivated a trade market and established the winery as a highly-recognized label.
