Critic tasting note: “Yellow-gold. Mature nose opening up to notes of milk bread, croissant and white-fleshed fruits with chalky undertones. Stunning balance on the palate combining fullness, creaminess, freshness and insistent aromas that linger. Remarkable.” – 93/100, Gilbert & Gaillard
ÂA lemon color with silver-golden reflections, tiny bubbles and a thick foam in expansion open the tasting. On the nose, scents of cannelés and caramelized custard combine. The mouth, also thick, embarks in a salty-sweet register. Minerals accentuate the sweet and sour elements and a modern style compromises the freshness and elegance expected on this 2008.
Blend: 60% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, 10% Pinot Meunier

Impressive wet stones and chalky mineral aromas here with a savory overlay of fresh white almonds and brioche. Poached pears, peaches and grilled lemons, too. The palate has attractive acid punch and a strong core of apple pastry and lemons. It finishes with grilled almonds. Drink or hold.
